折叠膜滤芯具有纳污能力高、耐腐蚀性强、流量大、操作方便、使用寿命长、没有纤维脱落、过滤面积大、堵塞率低、无污染、热稳定性及化学稳定性好等诸多
特点。此滤芯能滤除绝大部分微粒，所以广泛应于精滤和除菌工艺。滤芯长度有10、20、30、40英寸，滤芯材质聚四乙烯、聚醚砜、尼龙、聚丙烯、醋酸纤维等，过滤孔径有：0.1μm、0.22μm、1μm、3μm、5μm、10μm等，又分疏水性(适用于气体)和亲水性(适用于液体)滤芯，可根据需要选用。
