2. When to replace the filter bag of a multi bag filter? In practical applications, there are two ways to determine when to replace the filter bag: to roughly determine the replacement time based solely on experience.
Pressure gauges are installed on the inlet and outlet pipes of the bag filter machine, and the time to replace the filter bag is determined by the pressure difference displayed on the front and rear pressure gauges. Generally, the filter bag can withstand a pressure difference of about 0.5-1kg/cm2. When the pressure difference reaches this range, the filter bag should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid bag rupture and affect the filtration effect. Do not sacrifice the big for the small.
3. The more impurities there are, the more frequent the replacement of filter bags, and the longer the standby time, the more unfavorable it is for production. Therefore, in system design, it is necessary to increase the filtering area appropriately.
4. If the interception medium is hard, surface filtration such as metal mesh, nylon mesh, etc. should be selected. If it is soft or colloidal particles, deep filtration should be selected.
5. Pay attention to the working conditions of the filter medium, such as chemical compatibility, flow rate, and temperature, to determine the type of filter: single bag or multiple bags, which grade of stainless steel (such as 304, 316L, etc.) is used for the filter material, and the sealing material.
